I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful baby girl at her 1 week mark. Now, when the clients aunt contacted me about the session, she told me the new baby had a special name. I was not even close to figuring out it that her name could be the same as mine! Yep, her name is Jolie Ann. How special is that and I am so glad they choose me to photograph her. She is a sweet baby that loves to coo and it was a pleasure to capture her.

My first session for 2010 occurred this past Tuesday with 3 month old Brooklyn. He was a bundle full of fun and smiles(more for his Mimi than me but I can pretend right?) not to mention those chubby cheeks that you just want to keep kissing! First of all, I want to thank everyone who entered the raffle to help out the Rhodes Family! The raffle alone brought in $175 but thru one of the emails my husband and I sent out, our neighborhood group leader for CCV was able to do far more. We received food boxes, on one occasion over $250 in gift cards, and someone PAID OFF their rent for the month! I have had a few call of cash assistance to be expected in my mailbox, and I know that others have left special gifts at the Rhodes’s doorstep this past week. All I can say is ” GOD is good” and I want to thank everyone for pulling together to help out this family during these troubled times. We may not all be able to give a lot but when we all give a little we can make an amazing difference in someone’s life.

Lo Boheme | Peoria Az Child Photographer
As a photographer that loves to work on more artistic images, I am often on the look at for new, or I should say old, props to add to my portraits. I look for props that add to the character of the child or helps to show more emotion. I have been looking for hair accessories for girls for a while and came across Lo Boheme a few weeks ago. Lo has the most beautiful hair accessories around but she seemed to cater to brides. Once I told her my vision, came up with such a beautiful item made with vintage items. Eli’s Sneak Peak and Raffle for a family in need this Christmas!| Peoria Arizona Baby Photographer
I photographed Eli when he was a newborn and now he is almost 6 months old. He is definitely taking after his parents and its as tall as a 12 month old. Eli is full of tons of smiles and was very interested in my camera. I can not believe just how big he has gotten Amanda and Sean but he is beautiful!
Before I show you his sneak peaks, I wanted to let you know about a Raffle I am having for a family in need this Christmas season. The Rhodes family is greatly in need of help this month for themselves and their 5 children. Due to some medical issues that occured, the father is out of work and is always looking but has yet to recieve an offer for a job. Bills are piling up and now the Christmas season is upon them and they are in need of monatary donations, winter clothing for the kids and gifts for Christmas. Just like everyone, they do not like asking for help but Kevin and I have decided to help them the best we can this December. So, I have decided to hold a raffle for one of my Child Digital Sessions, a $500 VALUE!
“This session is for up to 2 children. For each additional child/parent add $25. This session usually lasts about 1 hour. We edit the best 15-20 shots and you may choose 10 images for your CD. This session Includes a 5×7 proof box with a custom cover that will hold 1 5×7 of each image choosen for your CD. Additional high res images may be purchased for $35 each.”

Miss Claire Sneak Peaks | Phoenix Az Newborn Photographer
This past weekend I met Miss Claire for the first time and all I have to say is she is beautiful! She was fiesty for the first hour but then she fell right to sleep for me. I couldn’t ask for anything better out of a newborn. Mommy and Daddy, she is beautiful and I hope she continues to sleep so well for you!

Miss Lexi Sneak Peaks|Scottsdale Az Newborn Photographer
I had the pleasure of photographing Miss Lexi just 8 days have her birth and boy was she a beauty! She slept beautiful and also holds the proud distinction as being the first newborn to poop on my hand during a session(not counting my own children of course). Poop aside she was wonderful for me, sleeping thru the session. I think I could just look at those plump little lips forever! Mommy and Daddy, you have one beautiful little one.
